Hey there!  I made it into your mailbox finally!!  I’m sure that makes no sense to you whatsoever, so let me try to explain.

Have you ever watched 5 year old kids play basketball, or soccer, or any new sport?  It is, for the most part, total chaos and very entertaining.  Except for the coach’s child, they are running to the wrong hoop, goal, base, or maybe just sitting down and giving up.  It’s a lot to learn and remember.  Okay, here is where I get to my point.  While watching one of our grandson’s basketball games a few weeks ago, I realized how much I am like these little ones who, even though they may not know exactly what to do or how to do it, they keep trying!  My “sport” is learning the business side of Lynn Samis Art.  Instead of telling myself I can’t do it or I’m too old to learn, I am jumping into it with a new excitement.🤗😎. And you, my friend, are invited to join me on this adventure and be a part of it all!  

A lot of my work recently has been focused on commissions.  It is such a joy to be able to create something special for someone and to get to know a part of their story.  I’ve also been doing some more of my native american paintings on antique maps.  The Colorado “Buckskin Charly” has found a new home already but the other, “Chief Big Thunder” is available.  And I’ve got more Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas maps on the way so let me know if you’re interested.    

In my next email I will tell you about my new studio space that is in the works so be sure to check your email in a week or two.  I’m planning an open studio/party to break it in and I’d love for you to be there!  Stay tuned for more on that.
